At Pine Forest Baptist, the Bible is considered the primary source for guiding faith and practice within the church. We believe in the one true God, eternally existing as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully divine in nature.
It is affirmed that all humanity has sinned and fallen short of God's glory, thereby deserving eternal separation from Him. According to this doctrine, God offered grace by sending his Son, Jesus Christ, who lived sinlessly, died as a substitute for sin, and rose from the dead, providing the only path to salvation.
Salvation is viewed as a gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, independent of works or human merit. Individuals who place their faith in Christ are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and granted eternal security in their salvation, progressing in grace and striving to lead lives that honor God.
Our church is a community of baptized believers, independently led by Christ's teachings. Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper are practiced as symbols of Christ's sacrifice and future return.
Furthermore, there is an expectation of the literal and physical return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, resulting in eternal punishment for the unrighteous and everlasting fellowship with God in Heaven for the righteous. Grounded in Christ's love, Pine Forest Baptist is committed to sharing the Gospel with both the local community and the wider world, fulfilling the mandate to make disciples of all nations as God commanded.
